Located in the heart of Windsor Ontario, Brentwood is a non-denominational recovery home that has served over 20,000 men and women primarily from Windsor and Essex County; however, clients come from all over Canada and the United States.
The facility is set on nine acres with three main buildings and a pavilion. It is staffed by 65 employees including certified counsellors and a full medical staff.

Clean up after the War - “It just goes to show how clueless I was to think that the only one to be affected by the disease was me!” Don Russell – November 13, 2009.
When the decision was made that we needed to get some help, we still only saw it as our problem. We had no knowledge at all what we had done to others. Maybe our spouse or partner got hurt but not our children. We did not see that they were affected also by the actions of our disease. We could not see the lifeless look in our spouse’s eyes. The children had trouble with their selfworth, self-esteem, and confidence because, during the most developmental time of growing up, the home was not a loving and nurturing place with happiness, joy, and playfulness. We do not want people to know what is going on in our homes but we have to break through that pride and ask for help to stop the pain that we are inflicting on others.
My commitment today is to clean up my act so I do not inflict pain on anyone!
